Forfar Communtiy Council, Angus

Azure; a castle argent with two tiers of battlements, triple towered and with two flanking towers, masoned sable, three windows and port gules, tower caps gules ensigned with balls or, the central tower having a flag displayed argent charged with a lion passant gules, imperially crowned proper; on a chief wavy or, a Scots fir [pine] eradicated proper, between a bull's head on the dexter and a stag's head on the sinister, both cabossed sable, both attired gules

coronet - community council

motto - Ut quocunque paratus

The arms are a ‘regrant’ of the arms of the old royal burghburgh, done away with like all burghs in 1975, with the old royal burgh motto
