Fraserburgh
Fraserburgh Community Council, Aberdeenshire

Quarterly: first - purpure, three cinquefoils argent; second, argent, an ostrich sable, holding in its beak a key or; third - argent, three fish fretted [in fret] azure; fourth - gules, a lion rampant argent, armed and langued azure

coronet - community council

motto - In God is a’

The arms are not a ‘regrant’ of the old burgh arms, as has been the case with many community councils, but has the same first and fourth quarters as the old burgh arms with different second and third ones. The motto is also new, being a Scots ‘phonetic’ version of the old burgh’s Latin one
